Mrs. Kelliher
1. Students in our ESL program come from all over the world.
2. Some have gone to an American high school for their junior
and/or senior year of high school.
3. Other students in our program are experiencing US education for
the first time.
4. Men and women learn together in the same classroom.
5. In Mrs. Kelliher’s classes, students learn and practice their English
listening skills, speaking skills, pronunciation skills, and note-
taking skills.
6. When a student gives an oral presentation in class, he or she is
manipulating the English language in new and exciting ways.
7. It’s wonderful for an instructor to observe his or her students gain
confidence when learning a new language.
8. Our semester will soon be ending.
9. Students will be happy that they have come far in their language
adventure.
10.
It’s important for students to continue practicing and
evaluating their English skills.
