This is the index.txt file obtained from the ftp://ftp.parallaxinc.com site off the path: /pub/basic , which is the file that tells what all the software on the whole site does for PICS and STAMPS. The software to program pseudo-code for the STAMP D/STAMP I and the STAMP II is here, as are the programs to download it to a STAMP chip bearing board, whether the board without chip was made by them or by a "faux-stamp" company which simply buys their BASIC STAMP D chip. The BLOAD software is to download their pseudo-code (pcode) to their BASIC STAMP family. The PRE and PREM seem to be ROM software for the ROM Emulator. The PIC_LITE file is the software for developing (PASM), simulating (PSIM), and downloading/programming (PEP) the PICs through the Parallax 16CXX PGM programmer. The PASM produces code that the PEP knows how to send to the programmer, but it uses the INHX8M format described completely in Microchip's Chapter 3 on programming PICs in their PIC Databook. Request it.
