Open your Start Images onto Paint Shop Pro’s workspace - File then Open.

PaintShop Pro X4, X5, X6, X7, X8, X9 disable the Tabbed Documents setting prior to opening multiple images onto PSP’s workspace -

Now, activate your choice of photograph; then from the top menu, choose Edit then choose Copy. Then activate the Cube Image, and from the top menu, choose Edit then choose Paste as New Layer. (To save PC resources, delete the original - Sunflower - photograph).

Then (working on the Pasted Photograph’s Layer); from the left-side Tools Toolbar, Paint Shop Pro 7 8 9 - activate the Deform/Deformation Tool http://www.paintshopprotutorials.co.uk/assets/images/defromation_toooooooooooop7777777.gif.

Or press your K key.

After clicking your Deform/Deformation/Pick Tool, the Sunflower Image will be surrounded by a large Vector Deformation Bounding Box.

From the Tool Options Ribbon - change the Mode to Free (Shift+Ctrl).

As you resize the Deformation Bounding Box; (at the same time) press and keep pressed your Keyboard’s Shift and Ctrl Keys.

Tip
If you lose sight of the Vector Deformation Bounding Box; double-left-clicking over the cube will return it.

All Versions
Now, you are looking to match each of photograph’s corners with the right-side Cube’s four corners. Therefore, gently tug the top-right Deformation Handle, and match it with the Cube’s top-right corner, as illustrated below.

Now, gently tug the bottom-right Deformation Handle, and match it with the Cube’s bottom-right corner, as illustrated below.

Then gently tug the bottom-left Deformation Handle, and match it with the Cube’s
bottom-left corner, as illustrated below.

Now, gently tug the top-left Deformation Handle, and match it with the Cube’s top-left corner, as illustrated below.

Tip
Lowering the Sunflower Layer’s Opacity will enable you to place each corner with
precision.

Tip
Keep disabling the Deformation Bounding box by activating the Mover/Move Tool; this helps to keep an eye on the repositioning progress http://www.paintshopprotutorials.co.uk/assets/images/move_tool_cube.gif.

Remember to reactivate the Deformation/Deform/Pick Tool.

Tip - All Versions
You can nudge the Deformation Bounding Box (the Sunflower) into position pixel-by-pixel by tapping your Keyboard’s Arrow Keys.

Paint Shop Pro 7 only: Press and keep pressed your Ctrl or Shift Key, then simultaneously tap the Deformation Bounding Box (the Sunflower) into position using the Arrow Keys.

All Versions
After you have placed your first photograph onto the right-side cube-panel - as illustrated below, you are ready for the next step.

Now, activate the second then the third photographs consecutively; and repeat Chapters 2 and 3. You are looking to place the second photograph onto the left-side cube-panel, and the third photograph onto the top cube-panel; exactly as you did with the first cube.

Remember, you are matching the photograph’s four corners with the four corners of the cube, one-by-one. After you have completed this, you are ready for the next step.

Tip
Preserve your Layers by saving your work as a Paint Shop Pro Image File - File then Save As.

From the top menu, choose Layers then choose Merge then choose Merge Visible.

Then create a New (Transparent) Raster Layer; and drag it to the bottom of the Layers Stack. Now, activate the Flood Fill Tool, then change the Colour/Material Palette’s Foreground Swatch to your choice of Solid Colour, Pattern or Gradient;- and Flood Fill the Transparent Layer with your choice of Material. Alternatively, Copy and Paste your completed cube onto a new background; and Resize, Reposition or Rotate it (the cube) using the Deformation/Deform or Pick Tool.

Paint Shop Pro 7; press and hold the Alt Key as your resize your cube will resize it in proportion - (to Scale)

Tip
For extra clarity; from the top menu, choose Effects/Adjust then choose
Sharpen/Sharpness. From the subsequent drop-down list, apply a Sharpening Filter of your choice, then click OK.
